Booking Policy

This Booking Policy outlines the rules and conditions that apply when making a rental reservation through USARentalCompare. By submitting a booking request or using our services, you agree to the terms detailed below.

1. Role of USARentalCompare

USARentalCompare is an independent assistance platform that helps customers submit rental booking requests, compare options, and receive support.

We do not own vehicles or operate as a car rental company. All confirmed bookings are fulfilled by third-party rental providers such as Enterprise, Budget, Avis, Hertz, and others.

2. Booking Request Submission

When you submit a booking request through our platform or support channels:

  • Your information is securely shared with the appropriate rental provider
  • The provider reviews availability, eligibility, and pricing
  • You will receive confirmation once the provider accepts the request

Submission of a booking request does not guarantee immediate confirmation.

3. Booking Confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed only after you receive:

  • A booking confirmation number, OR
  • A written confirmation directly from the rental provider or our support team

Pricing, terms, and vehicle availability are determined solely by the rental vendor.

4. Driver Requirements

All drivers must meet the rental provider’s requirements, which may include:

  • Valid government-issued driver’s license
  • Minimum age requirement (usually 21–25 depending on state & provider)
  • Credit card in the driver's name for security deposit
  • Proof of insurance if required by the provider

Failure to meet these requirements may result in denial at pickup, subject to vendor policies.

5. Pricing & Fees

All rental pricing—including taxes, deposits, surcharges, insurance, optional extras, and security holds— is governed by the rental provider and may vary by location or season.

Any support or convenience service fees charged by USARentalCompare (if applicable) are separate and clearly disclosed before completion.

6. Modifying a Booking

Modification requests (dates, times, vehicle type, location, driver information, etc.) may be submitted through our support channels.

Approval of changes is subject to the rental provider’s policies and availability. Additional charges or rate changes may apply.

7. Cancellations

Cancellation rules are based on the rental vendor’s terms. Some bookings may allow free cancellation, while others may incur penalties or be non-refundable.

USARentalCompare can assist with processing cancellation requests but cannot override vendor policies.

8. No-Show Policy

If a customer does not arrive at the scheduled pickup time and fails to cancel in advance, the booking may be marked as a no-show.

No-show penalties are determined by the rental provider and cannot be waived by USARentalCompare.

9. Identification & Payment at Pickup

Most rental providers require the following at pickup:

  • Driver’s license
  • Credit/debit card with sufficient funds for deposit
  • Matching name on license and payment card
  • Any additional documents required by the provider

If the customer fails to present required documentation, the provider may refuse the rental.

10. Overbooking or Vendor Denial

In rare cases, the rental provider may:

  • Deny the rental due to eligibility or documentation issues
  • Be unable to fulfill the reservation because of availability
  • Offer an alternative vehicle or upgraded option

Such decisions are fully controlled by the rental vendor. USARentalCompare is not responsible for provider-level availability or operational decisions.

11. Responsibility for the Vehicle

Once a vehicle is picked up, the customer assumes full responsibility for:

  • Safe and lawful operation
  • Any damages, tickets, or violations
  • Refueling or mileage requirements
  • Returning the vehicle according to the provider’s instructions

Vendor-imposed fees or charges must be resolved directly with the rental provider.
